There are many different Volunteer Community Service Opportunities that NICARAGUAN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS can organize for Universities, Colleges, High Schools, Language Schools and Independent Groups interested in Nicaragua. Volunteer work is a great way to learn about a culture while giving a worthwhile social contribution.
We can coordinate your Volunteer Work placement in combination with learning Spanish and taking classes on Academic or Content courses such like: Economics, Ecotourism, Education, Environment, Gender, Healthcare, Human Rights, Literature and Popular Culture, Politics, Religion, Rural Poverty, Women´s issues and more…This mix of classroom instructions, lectures and volunteer work will offer students and participants a very valuable experience, developing their knowledge of Central America, and improving their leadership and values.
Based in the beautiful colonial city of Granada, Nicaragua, we will organize your Study Abroad Program matching students’ interests and skills with the needs and objectives of local host organizations. We collaborate with numerous groups in the following areas:
- Art, theater, dance, cooking, computer trainings
- Disabled people
- Drug abuse
- Elementary education
- Poor kids
- Senior Homes
- Special Education
- Sports (if the weather allows it)
- Vocational Training
